SQL Connection Error

In trying to setup a connection from Cognos to SQL Server, am getting an error HRESULT=-2147221164, which appears to have something to do with "class not registered."

Turns out the connection, as copied from another server, was configured to use the SQL Server Native client, which wasn' t installed. Installing the client fixed the problem just fine.
