Innovation?

Monday, May 17, 2004 I was hopping around brand-name sites on the web tonight, just for fun to see how big money makes websites. I tried to move away from typical computer companies, and what's big money outside of computers? Cars, of course!

The freaky thing is how much alike the sites look! Glance over these screenshots; they all look like either the same people made them all, or there must be some magic design to make people buy cars. I didn't make them the same proportions, either - they're all fixed width for some reason.







Honda starts to break the pattern, and Ford's is just plain ugly, but I guess innovation is left up the car designers, not the websites!
