How Long?

Things often take a lot longer than we want. It happens for God, too:
- How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? (to Pharoah Ex 10:3)
- How long do you refuse to keep My commandments? (to Moses Ex 16:28)
- How long will this people spurn Me? Ex 16:28
- How long will they not believe in Me? Ex 16:28
- How long shall I bear with this grumbling congregation Num 14:27
- How long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Mat 17:17; Mark 9:19; Luke 9:41
- How long will you hesitate between two opinions? 1Ki 18:21
- How long will you torment me and crush me with words? (Job to his friends Job 19:2)
- How long will you love what is worthless? Ps 4:2
- How long will you be angry with the prayer of Your people? Ps 80:4
- How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Ps 82:1
- How long, O LORD? Will You hide Yourself forever? Ps 89:46
- How long will it be? Ps 90:13
- How long shall the wicked exult? Ps 94:3
- How long would Israel have to suffer its punishment Jer 4:14,21; 12:4; 13:27; 23:26; 31:22; 47:5,6
- How long, O LORD, will I call for help, and You will not hear? Hab 1:2
But I have trusted in Your lovingkindess;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the LORD,
Because He has dealt bountifully with me.
