Faithful Fruit

"The fruit of the Spirit is . . . faith" Gal 5:22
This part of the fruit is both faith, a deep conviction in God as creator and Christ as Savior, and faithfulness, or dependability. It's also used as "the faith," as a phrase for what a saved person lives by.
"Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." Heb 11:1
Look at how it's used in the New Testament:
Faith Heals
- The faith of the centurion that Jesus could heal his servant with a word Mat 8:8-10, Luke 7:9
- The faith of the paralized man's friends in Jesus' ability to heal him Mat 9:2, Mark 2:5, Luke 5:20
- The faith of the bleeding woman to be made well with a simple touch Mat 9:22, Mark 5:34, Luke 8:48
- The faith of the ruler that Jesus could raise his daughter from the dead Mat 9:18,23-26
- The faith of the two blind men that Jesus was able to make them see Mat 9:29
- The faith of the Samaritan woman that Jesus could heal her daughter Mat 15:28

- Prayer in faith can heal the sick, and obtain forgiveness of sins Jam 5:15
Faith Saves
- The faith of the woman who anointed Jesus with oil that he could save her Luke 7:50
- The faith given by God to clean our hearts Act 15:9
- Faith justifies a man Rom 3:28
- Faith is counted as righteousness Rom 4:5-9
- Faith is discussed in depth in Romans 4, Gal 3, and Heb 11
- Faith justifies us Gal 3:24, and gives us peace with God Rom 5:1-2
- Faith that God raised Jesus from the dead brings salvation Rom 10:8-11
- Faith, not works, justifies us Gal 2:16

- Faith saves us through Jesus Christ, and is found in the Word of God 2Tim 3:15
Faith Sustains
- The faith we encourage each other with Rom 1:12

- Faith comes from hearing the Word of Christ Rom 10:17
