Steadfast

God wants us to be faithful. Not just when we feel like it, but all the time! It can't be called faithful if it's inconsistent. Another word that conveys this feeling of time well is steadfast; not moving, remaining the same.
Be steadfast!
- Immovable in the work of the Lord 1Cor 15:58
- In mainting our freedom from sin Gal 5:1
- In doctrine Eph 4:14
- In unity in the Spirit Php 1:27
- In resisting the devil 1Pe 5:8-9
Like these examples:
- Josiah in obeying God's commands 1Kings 22:2
- Job in walking with the Lord Job 23:11
- Hannaniah, Mishael, and Azariah in worshipping God alone Dan 3:18
- Christ in going to the cross Luke 9:51
- Peter and John in preaching the gospel Acts 4:19-20
- Paul in finishing the ministry given him by Jesus Acts 20:24
Even if it's hard
- When others hate you for being a Christian Mark 13:13
- When God disciplines you Heb 12:7
- To suffer unjustly for obeying God 1Pe 2:19
Without wavering:
- Carefully obeying God Joshua 1:7
- Staying clear of evil Pro 4:27
- Leaving the past behind Luk 9:62, Php 3:13
